WHAT IS A VOW RENEWAL?
In a nutshell, a vow renewal is a way to celebrate your marriage. Perhaps you've made it to 1, 5, 10, 25 or 50 years together and you want the world to know you'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Maybe you want to reaffirm your commitment to each other after a rough period in your relationship. Maybe you fancy a big celebration with all your loved ones present and an excuse to really dress up! Perhaps you want to share your special day with loved ones who weren't there the first time around. There's no wrong reason to renew your vows!
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT ON THE BIG DAY?
A ceremony can take place ANYwhere, ANYtime, ANYhow! You can choose any venue you wish, whether its in a stately home, a forest, a garden, beside a lake, a park or even a beach - the choice is YOURS!
Maybe you'd like a theme? Or perhaps you'd like a traditional day, to replicate your original wedding day?
Your actual day can look how you want it to look; full wedding attire, smart, casual, hippy vibe, themed.......its YOUR DAY, you choose!
The actual ceremony can feature the following process:

The actual ceremony can feature the following process:
- Entrance Music and the Aisle: Again, there are no rules here! You might want to enter together, or with your children. You might like to replicate your wedding day & have the bride enter to join the groom.
- Acknowledgement of any children of the marriage
- A candle in respect of those no longer with you (if you choose!)
- Readings - maybe by one of your guests or family members. This can be a poem or a short story about you!
- Renewal of vows: You can write your own vows (I can offer lots of fun tips!)
- Re-dedication of rings: Some couples have their rings engraved to mark the day, others purchase new rings. You can even have a symbolic ritual at this point called 'Ring-Warming' or 'Ring Blessing', where the rings are passed between the guests & blessed before being placed on your fingers.
